A bit about Kas

Kas, (pronounced Cash), is the next town along the coast to Kalkan and is roughly a 30 minute drive away. Slightly larger than Kalkan, Kas is flatter with most of the holiday accommodation being on the peninsula with some wonderful sea views. Some of the properties can see the Greek island of Meis which is 20 minutes away by boat. Although Kas doesn’t have the number of restaurants that Kalkan has, it has a number of bars playing live music ranging from jazz and blues, to more pop music. It has quite a bohemian feel to it. The local dolmus (bus) will take you between both Kas and Kalkan for just a few pounds per person.
