Mulberry Villas – 1 Bedroom Tranquility in the Forest

Mulberry Villas are set in woodland on the edge of Yeşilköy Village. These charming one-bedroom villas are only about ten minutes’ drive, (5 km), from the centre of Kalkan.
They are a group of villas, which have been specially built in a woodland setting to provide totally private holiday escapes and offer a great location at a reasonable cost.

The photos are of Villa Sorrel & Villa Chive, but there are 6 of these semi-detached properties all identical in style/layout – Thyme, Nettle, Basil & Parsley make up the Mulberry Villas. This makes them perfect for couples, or groups of couples wanting their own private space while still being close to friends.

The properties are approached by a road leading uphill from the old main Fethiye -Kalkan Road. Here guests will find a small group of villas, (about 16 in total), all designed for maximum privacy. The Mulberry Villas are a group of six identical semi-detached units.

Ground Floor – Mulberry Villas

The accommodation itself comprises of an airy open plan lounge / kitchen / dining area, which opens directly onto the pool terrace and is overlooked from the bedroom mezzanine floor above.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances including a built-in oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave oven, toaster and filter coffee machine, and has a breakfast bar with two bar stools.

There is a comfortable L-shaped sofa, single armchair and smart TV in the lounge area. Sliding glass doors enable access to both the pool terrace and the al fresco dining area. The properties are air-conditioned throughout and have complimentary wi-fi internet.

Adjacent to the villa’s entrance there is a separate cloakroom and staircase leading up to the upper bedroom mezzanine floor.

First Floor – Mulberry Villas

This area’s balcony overlooks the two-storey lounge area and has impressive views across the Xanthos Valley beyond. The bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite bathroom plus an impressive jacuzzi bath for guests to enjoy.

Bedrooms – Mulberry Villas

Bedroom 1: large double bed, bedside cabinets, large wardrobe with full length mirrored doors, flat screen tv, en-suite shower room with rainforest shower and glass divide, large jacuzzi bath, overlooks lounge area, views of olive groves.

Outdoors – Mulberry Villas

The pool area is completely private, the area in front of the pool has now been tastefully fenced in to ensure maximum comfort and privacy. There is a comfortable romantic cabana adjacent to the pool for guests to be able to relax in, plus a spacious shaded outdoor area which has a comfortable seating area, swing, and alfresco dining area for four.

The totally private pool is some 7 x 3 metres in dimensions and has a depth of 1.5 metres. Access to the pool is by a step ladder and there are two sun loungers placed on a shallow section of the pool.
