Kalkan is renowned for its first class cuisine. The choice of restaurants is vast and the service very high. Dine in one of the harbour side restaurants overlooking the marina, to the gentle lapping of the water against the boats. Or the roof top restaurants with their views across the roof tops and out to sea.

What you won’t find in Kalkan, is fast food chains. However, pizza or burgers can still be found, but in the form of freshly prepared, wholesome, tasty food. Most if not all the restaurants operate in this way. Fresh fish, fillet steak and a range of Turkish cuisine is readily found in most restaurants.

Fancy something not on the menu? Don’t worry, as everything is cooked to order, most restaurants are more than happy to tweak a dish to your satisfaction. Throughout Turkey tipping is expected and is between 10%-15%.
